Daniel 8:17

So he came near where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell face downward; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man, that the [fulfillment of the] vision pertains to [events that will occur in] the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

Gabriel came close to where I was standing. I was terrified and fell down flat with my face toward the ground. Here is what he said to me. “Son of man, I want you to understand the vision. It’s about the time of the end.”

As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground. “Son of man,” he said, “you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.”

فَجَاءَ إِلَيَّ حَيْثُ وَقَفْتُ، فَتَوَلَّانِي الْخَوْفُ وَانْطَرَحْتُ عَلَى وَجْهِي، فَقَالَ لِي: «افْهَمْ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ. إِنَّ الرُّؤْيَا تَخْتَصُّ بِوَقْتِ الْمُنْتَهَى».

Da Gabriel kom hen til mig, blev jeg så overvældet af rædsel, at jeg faldt om med ansigtet mod jorden. Så sagde han til mig: „Du må forstå, unge mand, at det, du her har set, vil ske i de sidste tider.”

Então Gabriel veio para onde eu me encontrava. Mas quando se aproximou de mim fiquei muito perturbado e caí com o rosto em terra. “Homem mortal”, disse-me ele, “tens de perceber que estes acontecimentos que viste figurados nessa visão não terão lugar antes que venha o fim dos tempos.”

Han kom fram till mig där jag stod, men när han närmade sig blev jag förskräckt och föll ner med ansiktet mot marken. Han sa till mig: ”Du människa, du måste förstå att synen gäller den sista tiden.”
