Amos 5:7

“For those [shall be consumed] who turn justice into wormwood (bitterness)And cast righteousness down to the earth.”

Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,

For those who turn justice into wormwoodAnd [e]cast righteousness down to the earth.”

There are people among you who turn what is fair into something bitter. They throw down to the ground what is right.

There are those who turn justice into bitterness and cast righteousness to the ground.

There are those who turn justice into bitterness and cast righteousness to the ground.

You twist justice, making it a bitter pill for the oppressed. You treat the righteous like dirt.

إِنَّكُمْ تُحَوِّلُونَ الْعَدْلَ مَرَارَةً، وَتَطْرَحُونَ الْحَقَّ إِلَى الأَرْضِ.

I lader hånt om retfærdighed og foragter hæderlighed.

Ihr treibt mit der Gerechtigkeit Schindluder[b], ihr tretet das Recht mit Füßen!

邪悪な者たち。あなたがたは正義の名のもとに貧しい人を虐げています。正義も公正も、あなたがたには無意味な絵空事です。

Slechte mannen, u maakt de rechtvaardigheid tot een aanfluiting voor de armen en de verdrukten. ‘Gerechtigheid’ en ‘eerlijke behandeling’ betekenen niets voor u!

Ó gente pervertida! Fazem da justiça uma poção bem amarga que os pobres e oprimidos são obrigados a engolir; honestidade e retidão são ficções sem sentido algum para vocês!
