Amos 5:16

Therefore, thus says the Lord God of hosts, the Lord,“There is wailing in all the public plazas,And in all the streets they say, ‘Alas! Alas!’And they call the farmers to mourning [for those who have died]And professional mourners to wailing.

Therefore the Lord, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

The Lord God rules over all. The Lord says,“People will weep in all the streets. They will be very sad in every market place.Even farmers will be told to cry loudly. People will mourn for the dead.

Therefore this is what the Lord, the Lord God Almighty, says:“There will be wailing in all the streets and cries of anguish in every public square.The farmers will be summoned to weep and the mourners to wail.

لِذَلِكَ، هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإِلَهُ الْقَدِيرُ، سَيَمْلأُ النَّحِيبُ أَرْجَاءَ السَّاحَاتِ، وَيَرْتَفِعُ عَوِيلُهُمْ فِي الشَّوَارِعِ قَائِلِينَ: آهِ! آهِ! وَيَدْعُونَ الْفَلاحِينَ إِلَى الْبُكَاءِ، وَالنَّادِبَاتِ إِلَى الرِّثَاءِ،

主 耶 和 华 ─ 万 军 之 神 如 此 说 ： 在 一 切 宽 阔 处 必 有 哀 号 的 声 音 ； 在 各 街 市 上 必 有 人 说 ： 哀 哉 ！ 哀 哉 ！ 又 必 叫 农 夫 来 哭 号 ， 叫 善 唱 哀 歌 的 来 举 哀 。
