Amos 5:15

Hate evil and love good,And establish justice in the [court of the city] gate.Perhaps the Lord God of hostsWill be gracious to the remnant of Joseph [that is, those who remain after God’s judgment].

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

When was the last time you sang to me?Do you know what I want? I want justice—oceans of it.I want fairness—rivers of it. That’s what I want. That’s all I want. 25-27 “Didn’t you, dear family of Israel, worship me faithfully for forty years in the wilderness, bringing the sacrifices and offerings I commanded? How is it you’ve stooped to dragging gimcrack statues of your so-called rulers around, hauling the cheap images of all your star-gods here and there? Since you like them so much, you can take them with you when I drive you into exile beyond Damascus.” God’s Message, God-of-the-Angel-Armies.

امْقُتُوا الشَّرَّ وَأَحِبُّوا الْخَيْرَ وَأَقِيمُوا الْعَدْلَ فِي سَاحَةِ الْقَضَاءِ، لَعَلَّ الرَّبَّ الإِلَهَ الْقَدِيرَ يَتَرَفَّقُ عَلَى بَقِيَّةِ بَيْتِ يُوسُفَ.

Had det onde og elsk det gode. Lad retfærdigheden sejre i retten. Så vil Gud, den Almægtige, måske tilgive den rest af folket, som overlever. Dommens dag bliver en sørgedag

Ja, hasst das Böse, liebt das Gute! Verhelft vor Gericht jedem zu seinem Recht! Vielleicht erbarmt sich der Herr, der allmächtige Gott, doch noch über euch, die ihr von Josefs Nachkommen übrig geblieben seid.

悪を憎み、善を愛して、正しい裁判を行いなさい。あるいは、天の軍勢の神である主が、残っているご自身の民をあわれんでくださるかもしれない。

너희는 악을 미워하고 선을 사랑하며 법정에서 공정을 기하라. 어쩌면 전능하신 하나님 여호와께서 [c]살아 남은 백성을 불쌍히 여기실지도 모른다.

Haat het kwaad en houd van het goede, verander uw gerechtsgebouwen in echte bolwerken van rechtvaardigheid. Misschien zal de Oppermachtige Here, de God van de hemelse legers, dan nog genade voor recht laten gelden voor zijn onderdanen die overblijven.

Odeiem o mal, amem o bem; estabeleçam a justiça nos tribunais.Talvez o Senhor, o Deus dos Exércitos,tenha misericórdia do remanescente de José.

Odeiem o mal e amem o bem! Reformem os vossos tribunais, de forma a que se transformem em verdadeiros palácios de justiça! Talvez ainda o Senhor, o Deus dos exércitos, tenha misericórdia do resto do seu povo.

Urâţi răul, iubiţi binele şi statorniciţi dreptatea la poarta cetăţii!Poate că Domnul, Dumnezeul Oştirilor, va arăta bunăvoinţă faţă de rămăşiţa lui Iosif.

Hata det onda och älska det goda! Låt rätten råda när man dömer i porten! Då kanske Herren, härskarornas Gud, ska vara nådig mot det som återstår av Josefs ätt.

你们要恨恶邪恶，喜爱良善，在城门口伸张正义，也许万军之上帝耶和华会恩待约瑟的余民。

要 恶 恶 好 善 ， 在 城 门 口 秉 公 行 义 ； 或 者 耶 和 华 ─ 万 军 之 神 向 约 瑟 的 馀 民 施 恩 。

你們要恨惡邪惡，喜愛良善，在城門口伸張正義，也許萬軍之上帝耶和華會恩待約瑟的餘民。
