Amos 5:12

For I know your transgressions are many and your sins are great (shocking, innumerable),You who distress the righteous and take bribes,And turn away from the poor in the [court of the city] gate [depriving them of justice].

For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

I know how many crimes you have committed. You have sinned far too much. Among you are people who crush those who have done no wrong. They accept money from people who want special favors. They take away the rights of poor people in the courts.

لأَنَّنِي عَالِمٌ بِكَثْرَةِ مَعَاصِيكُمْ وَعِظَمِ خَطَايَاكُمْ، إِذْ إِنَّكُمْ تُضَايِقُونَ الْبَارَّ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْتَشُونَ الَّذِينَ تَصُدُّونَ الْمِسْكِينَ عَنْ حَقِّهِ فِي سَاحَةِ الْقَضَاءِ.

Ja, ich weiß, wie viele Verbrechen ihr begangen habt und wie groß eure Schuld ist. Ehrliche Menschen bringt ihr in Bedrängnis, ihr nehmt Bestechungsgelder an und lasst die Armen vor Gericht nicht zu ihrem Recht kommen.

Pois eu sei quantas são as suas transgressõese quão grandes são os seus pecados.Vocês oprimem o justo, recebem subornoe impedem que se faça justiça ao pobre nos tribunais.
