Amos 5:11

Therefore, because you impose heavy rent on the poorAnd demand a tribute (food-tax) of grain from them,Though you have built [luxurious] houses of square stone,You will not live in them;You have planted beautiful vineyards, but you will not drink their wine.

Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

You make poor people pay tax on their straw. You also tax their grain.So, even though you have built stone houses, you won’t live in them.You have planted fruitful vineyards. But you won’t drink the wine they produce.

You levy a straw tax on the poor and impose a tax on their grain.Therefore, though you have built stone mansions, you will not live in them;though you have planted lush vineyards, you will not drink their wine.

فَلأَنَّكُمْ تَطَأُونَ الْمِسْكِينَ وَتَبْتَزُّونَ مِنْهُ رِشْوَةَ قَمْحٍ حَتَّى تُشَيِّدُوا بُيُوتاً مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ مَنْحُوتَةٍ، فَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَسْكُنُوا فِيهَا، وَتَغْرِسُوا كُرُوماً شَهِيَّةً وَلَكِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَشْرَبُوا مِنْ خَمْرِهَا.

I tramper på de fattige og lægger urimelige afgifter på deres kornhøst. Derfor skal I ikke opleve at nyde livet i de fornemme stenhuse, I er ved at bygge, eller fylde jer med vinen fra de vingårde, I er ved at anlægge.

Von den Ärmsten nehmt ihr Pachtgeld[c] und verlangt auch noch Getreideabgaben. Darum macht euch auf die Strafe gefasst: Ihr habt euch zwar prachtvolle Häuser aus behauenen Steinen gebaut, doch ihr werdet nicht darin wohnen! Ihr habt euch herrliche Weingärten angelegt, doch ihr werdet keinen Wein daraus trinken!

Par conséquent, |puisque vous exploitez le pauvre,et que vous lui prenez |du blé de sa récolte,à cause de cela, |les maisons en pierres de taille |que vous avez bâties,vous ne les habiterez pas.Ces vignes excellentes |que vous avez plantées,vous ne boirez pas de leur vin.

貧しい者たちを踏みつけ、税や罰金や利子と言っては、わずかしかない持ち物を取り上げています。それゆえ、今建てている石造りの美しい家に、あなたがたは決して住めません。今植えている見事なぶどう園から作るぶどう酒も飲めません。

너희가 가난한 자들을 짓밟고 그들에게서 부당하게 곡식을 거둬들였으므로 너희가 훌륭한 석조 건물을 지어도 거기서 살지 못할 것이며 너희가 아름다운 포도원을 가꾸어도 그 포도주를 마시지 못할 것이다.

U vertrapt de armen en ontneemt hun zelfs de laatste kruimel met al uw belastingen, boetes en buitensporig hoge rentes, daarom zult u nooit wonen in de prachtige huizen die u voor uzelf bouwt en nooit een druppel wijn drinken van de wijngaarden die u plant.

Vocês oprimem o pobre e o forçam a dar-lhes o trigo.Por isso, embora vocês tenham construído mansões de pedra, nelas não morarão;embora tenham plantado vinhas verdejantes, não beberão do seu vinho.

Pisam com os pés o pobre e roubam-no até ao mais pequeno tostão com as taxas iníquas da usura. É por isso que constroem vivendas luxuosas, construídas com pedras lavradas, que nunca chegarão a habitar; também não beberão o vinho das esplêndidas vinhas que plantaram.

De aceea, pentru că l-aţi călcat în picioare pe cel sărac şi aţi luat de la el taxe în grâne,chiar dacă aţi construit case de piatră, nu veţi locui în ele;chiar dacă aţi sădit vii plăcute, nu veţi bea din vinul lor!

Därför, ni som trampar på den fattige och tar ifrån honom hans säd i skatt: Ni bygger hus av huggen sten men får aldrig bo i dem, ni planterar underbara vingårdar men får aldrig dricka vinet från dem.

เจ้าเหยียบย่ำคนยากไร้และรีดไถเอาเมล็ดข้าวจากเขาฉะนั้นถึงแม้เจ้าจะสร้างตึกศิลาเจ้าก็จะไม่ได้อยู่อาศัยถึงแม้เจ้าปลูกสวนองุ่นงอกงามเจ้าก็จะไม่ได้ดื่มเหล้าองุ่นนั้น

你们践踏穷人，对他们横征暴敛。因此，你们用凿过的石头建房，却不得居住在里面；你们种植佳美的葡萄园，却喝不到葡萄酒。

你們踐踏窮人，對他們橫徵暴斂。因此，你們用鑿過的石頭建房，卻不得居住在裡面；你們種植佳美的葡萄園，卻喝不到葡萄酒。
