Genesis 7

The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.

แล้วองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสกับโนอาห์ว่า “จงเข้าไปในเรือพร้อมกับครอบครัวของเจ้า เพราะเราเห็นว่าเจ้าเป็นคนชอบธรรมคนเดียวในบรรดาคนชั่วอายุนี้

Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate,

จงนำสัตว์เหล่านี้ไปกับเจ้าด้วย คือสัตว์ที่ไม่เป็นมลทินทุกชนิดอย่างละเจ็ดคู่ทั้งตัวผู้กับคู่ของมัน สัตว์ที่เป็นมลทินทุกชนิดอย่างละคู่ทั้งตัวผู้กับคู่ของมัน

and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.

และนกทุกชนิดอย่างละเจ็ดคู่ทั้งตัวผู้และตัวเมีย เพื่อรักษาเผ่าพันธุ์ของสัตว์ทุกชนิดบนโลก

Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

อีกเจ็ดวันเราจะให้ฝนตกบนโลกนี้สี่สิบวันสี่สิบคืน และเราจะกวาดล้างสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งปวงซึ่งเราสร้างขึ้นนั้นไปจากแผ่นดินโลก”

And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.

โนอาห์ก็ทำทุกสิ่งตามที่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงบัญชา

Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.

โนอาห์มีอายุหกร้อยปีเมื่อเกิดน้ำท่วมโลก

And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.

โนอาห์และบรรดาบุตรชายของเขา พร้อมทั้งภรรยาของโนอาห์และบรรดาบุตรสะใภ้ก็เข้าไปอยู่ในเรือเพื่อหลบภัยน้ำท่วม

Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground,

สัตว์ที่เป็นมลทินและไม่เป็นมลทิน นก สัตว์ที่เลื้อยคลาน สัตว์ทุกประเภทเป็นคู่ๆ

male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah.

ทั้งตัวผู้และตัวเมียก็มาหาโนอาห์และเข้าไปในเรือตามที่พระเจ้าทรงบัญชาโนอาห์ไว้

And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.

อีกเจ็ดวันต่อมาน้ำก็ท่วมโลก

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.

ในวันที่สิบเจ็ดของเดือนที่สอง ซึ่งเป็นปีที่โนอาห์มีอายุได้หกร้อยปี ตาน้ำบาดาลพลุ่งทะลักขึ้นมาและประตูน้ำแห่งฟ้าสวรรค์ก็เปิดออก

And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.

ฝนก็เทลงมาบนโลกตลอดสี่สิบวันสี่สิบคืน

On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.

ในวันนั้นเองโนอาห์กับภรรยาและบุตรชายทั้งสามคือ เชม ฮาม และยาเฟท รวมทั้งบุตรสะใภ้ของเขาก็เข้าไปในเรือ

They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings.

พวกเขาได้นำสัตว์ทุกชนิดจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์เลี้ยง สัตว์ที่เลื้อยคลาน นกและสัตว์มีปีกไปด้วย

Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.

บรรดาสัตว์ทุกชนิดที่มีลมหายใจแห่งชีวิตได้มาหาโนอาห์และเข้าไปในเรือเป็นคู่ๆ

The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord shut him in.

สัตว์ที่เข้าไปในเรือคือสัตว์ตัวผู้และตัวเมียของสัตว์ทุกชนิดตามที่พระเจ้าทรงบัญชาโนอาห์ แล้วองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงปิดประตูเรือ

For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.

ตลอดสี่สิบวัน น้ำก็ท่วมสูงจนหนุนเรือให้ลอยขึ้น

The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.

ปริมาณน้ำบนโลกเพิ่มขึ้นมากจนยกเรือให้ลอยขึ้นเหนือผิวน้ำ

They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.

น้ำท่วมโลกรุนแรงมากจนมิดภูเขาสูงทั้งหมดที่อยู่ใต้ฟ้า

The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.^[a][b]

ระดับน้ำสูงเหนือยอดเขาต่างๆ ขึ้นไปกว่า 15 ศอก^[a][b]

Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

สิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งหมดที่อยู่ทั่วโลกก็พินาศ ทั้งนก สัตว์เลี้ยง สัตว์ป่า สัตว์ที่เลื้อยคลาน และมวลมนุษยชาติ

Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.

สรรพสิ่งที่มีลมหายใจแห่งชีวิตและดำรงชีวิตอยู่บนบกก็ตายหมด

Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.

สิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งปวงบนโลกไม่ว่าคน สัตว์ สัตว์ที่เลื้อยคลาน และนกในอากาศล้วนถูกกวาดล้างไปจากโลก เหลือรอดอยู่แต่โนอาห์และสิ่งมีชีวิตที่อยู่กับเขาในเรือ

The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.

น้ำท่วมโลกอยู่นาน 150 วัน
