Zephaniah 2:9

“Therefore, as I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,The God of Israel,“[b]Moab will in fact become like SodomAnd the [c]sons of Ammon like Gomorrah,A land possessed by nettles and salt pits,And a perpetual desolation.The remnant of My people will plunder themAnd what is left of My nation will inherit them [as their own].”

Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

“Therefore, as I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,The God of Israel,“Surely Moab will be like SodomAnd the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah—A place possessed by nettles and salt pits,And a perpetual desolation.The remnant of My people will plunder themAnd the remainder of My nation will inherit them.”

So Moab will become like Sodom,” announces the Lord who rules over all. “Ammon will be like Gomorrah.Weeds and salt pits will cover those countries. They will be dry and empty deserts forever.Those who are still left alive among my people will take all their valuable things. So they will receive those lands as their own.And that is just as sure as I am alive.” The Lord is the God of Israel.

Therefore, as surely as I live,” declares the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel,“surely Moab will become like Sodom, the Ammonites like Gomorrah—a place of weeds and salt pits, a wasteland forever.The remnant of my people will plunder them; the survivors of my nation will inherit their land.”

Now, as surely as I live,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel,“Moab and Ammon will be destroyed— destroyed as completely as Sodom and Gomorrah.Their land will become a place of stinging nettles, salt pits, and eternal desolation.The remnant of my people will plunder them and take their land.”

لِذَلِكَ، كَمَا أَنَا حَيٌّ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ، لَيُصْبِحَنَّ أَهْلُ مُوآبَ كَسَدُومَ، وَالْعَمُّونِيُّونَ كَعَمُورَةَ، مَنْبَتاً لِلْقَرِيصِ وَحُفْرَةً لِلْمِلْحِ وَخَرَاباً إِلَى الأَبَدِ، وَتَنْهَبُهُمْ بَقِيَّةُ شَعْبِي وَيَمْتَلِكُهُمُ النَّاجُونَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي.

Darum schwöre ich, der Herr, der allmächtige Gott Israels, so wahr ich lebe: Moab und Ammon wird es wie Sodom und Gomorra ergehen: Für alle Zeiten soll ihr Gebiet zu einer Wüste voller Salzgruben werden, von Unkraut überwuchert. Die Überlebenden meines Volkes werden die Moabiter und Ammoniter ausplündern und ihr Land in Besitz nehmen.«

Tan cierto como que yo vivo —afirma el Señor Todopoderoso, el Dios de Israel—,que Moab vendrá a ser como Sodoma y los amonitas, como Gomorra:se volverán campos de espinos y minas de sal, desolación perpetua.El remanente de mi pueblo los saqueará; los sobrevivientes de mi nación heredarán su tierra».

그러므로 전능한 나 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 분명히 말한다. 모압은 소돔과 같이 되고 암몬 자손은 고모라같이 될 것이며 그 곳들은 잡초가 우거지고 소금 구덩이가 되어 영원히 황무지가 될 것이다. 그리고 살아 남은 내 백성들이 그들을 약탈하고 그 땅을 차지할 것이다.”

Daarom, zo waar Ik leef,’ zegt de Here van de hemelse legers, de God van Israël, ‘Ik zal Moab en Ammon verwoesten, net zoals Ik met Sodom en Gomorra heb gedaan. Zij zullen voor eeuwig veranderen in een veld vol distels, in een zoutafgraving en in een woestenij. Wie van mijn volk zijn overgebleven, zullen hen plunderen en hun land in bezit nemen.’

Por isso, juro pela minha vida”, declara o Senhor dos Exércitos, o Deus de Israel,“Moabe se tornará como Sodoma e os amonitas como Gomorra:um lugar tomado por ervas daninhas e poços de sal,uma desolação perpétua.O remanescente do meu povo os saqueará;os sobreviventes da minha nação herdarão a terra deles.”

Por isso, tão certo como eu viver, diz o Senhor dos exércitos, o Deus de Israel, Moabe e Amon serão destruídos como foram Sodoma e Gomorra; tornar-se-ão em campos de ortigas, em poços de sal, em lugares de desolação eterna. O resto que ficar do meu povo tomará a terra e ocupá-la-á.”

De aceea, viu sunt Eu, zice Domnul Oştirilor[f], Dumnezeul lui Israel,că Moab va fi ca Sodoma, iar amoniţii ca Gomora,un loc plin cu buruieni şi cu gropi de sare, un pustiu pe vecie!Rămăşiţa poporului Meu îi va prăda şi supravieţuitorii neamului Meu îi vor stăpâni.“

Därför, så sant jag lever, säger härskarornas Herre, Israels Gud: Moab ska bli som Sodom och ammoniterna som Gomorra, ett nässelsnår och en saltgrop, en ödemark för evigt. De av mitt folk som är kvar ska plundra dem, återstoden av mitt folk ska få dem till arvedel.”

万 军 之 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 说 ： 我 指 着 我 的 永 生 起 誓 ： 摩 押 必 像 所 多 玛 ， 亚 扪 人 必 像 蛾 摩 拉 ， 都 变 为 刺 草 、 盐 坑 、 永 远 荒 废 之 地 。 我 百 姓 所 剩 下 的 必 掳 掠 他 们 ； 我 国 中 所 馀 剩 的 必 得 着 他 们 的 地 。
