Zephaniah 1:11

“Wail [in anguish], you inhabitants of the [g]Mortar (Valley of Siloam),For all the merchants of Canaan will be silenced and destroyed;All who weigh out silver will be cut off.

Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.

“Wail, O inhabitants of the [i]Mortar,For all the [j]people of Canaan will be silenced;All who weigh out silver will be cut off.

Cry out, you who live in the market places. All your merchants will be wiped out. Those who trade in silver will be destroyed.

Wail, you who live in the market district[d]; all your merchants will be wiped out, all who trade with[e] silver will be destroyed.

وَلْوِلُوا يَا سُكَّانَ دَائِرَةِ السُّوقِ، لأَنَّ تُجَّارَكُمْ يَبِيدُونَ، وَكُلَّ الْمُتَاجِرِينَ بِالْفِضَّةِ قَدِ اسْتُؤْصِلُوا.
