Zechariah 9:6

And a mongrel race will live in Ashdod,And I will put an end to the pride and arrogance of the Philistines.

And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.

A people who come from several nations will take over Ashdod. The Lord says, “I will put an end to the pride of the Philistines.

وَيَسْتَوْطِنُ الزَّنِيمُ فِي أَشْدُودَ، وَيَسْتَأْصِلُ الرَّبُّ كِبْرِيَاءَ الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ.

og et fremmed folk vil overtage Ashdod. Sådan gør jeg ende på filistrenes hovmod.
