And Hamath also, which borders on it (Damascus),Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.

The Lord will judge Hamath too. It’s next to Damascus.He will also punish Tyre and Sidon even though they are very clever.

وَكَذَلِكَ قَضَاءِ الرَّبِّ عَلَى حَمَاةَ الْمُتَاخِمَةِ لِدِمَشْقَ، وَعَلَى صُورَ وَصِيدُونَ الْمُتَّصِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحِكْمَةِ:

Hans straf vil ramme Hamat ved grænsen til Damaskus, og han vil slå ned på Tyrus og Sidon på trods af deres dygtighed.
