Zechariah 11:2

Wail, O cypress, for the cedar has fallen,Because the magnificent trees have been destroyed;Wail, O oaks of Bashan,For the inaccessible forest [on the steep mountainside] has come down.

Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.

Wail, O [a]cypress, for the cedar has fallen,Because the glorious trees have been destroyed;Wail, O oaks of Bashan,For the [b]impenetrable forest has come down.

Juniper trees, cry out! The cedar trees have fallen down. The majestic trees are destroyed.Cry out, you oak trees of Bashan! The thick forest has been cut down.

Wail, you juniper, for the cedar has fallen; the stately trees are ruined!Wail, oaks of Bashan; the dense forest has been cut down!

انْتَحِبْ أَيُّهَا السَّرْوُ لأَنَّ الأَرْزَ قَدْ تَهَاوَى، وَالْعُظَمَاءَ قَدْ هَلَكُوا. انْتَحِبْ يَا بَلُّوطَ بَاشَانَ لأَنَّ الْغَابَاتِ الْكَثِيفَةَ دُمِّرَتْ.

Græd, cypresser, for de majestætiske cedertræer er totalt ødelagte. Græd i fortvivlelse, Bashans egetræer, for den tætte skov er fuldstændig ryddet.

Klagt, ihr Zypressen, denn die Zedern sind umgestürzt, die mächtigen Bäume sind zerstört! Klagt, ihr Eichen vom Baschangebirge, denn der undurchdringliche Wald ist dahin!

¡Gime tú, ciprés, porque los cedros se han caído y los majestuosos árboles se han derrumbado!¡Gemid, robles de Basán! ¡Los tupidos bosques han sido derribados!

Lamente-toi, cyprès, |car le cèdre est tombé,et les arbres majestueux |ont été abattus.Gémissez, chênes du Basan,car la forêt si dense |a été abattue.

Kag subong nga nagkalapierdi ang matahom kag madabong nga mga kahoy nga sedro, magakalapierdi man ang mga kahoy nga sipres kag ang mga kahoy nga terebinto sang Bashan.[a]

糸杉よ、泣け。すべての杉が損なわれるからだ。高くそびえ立つ見事な杉がすべて倒れる。バシャンの樫の木よ、恐ろしさのあまり叫べ。一番深い森まで切り倒されるのを見るからだ。

잣나무야, 통곡하라. 백향목이 넘어졌고 아름다운 나무들이 꺾여지고 말았다. 바산의 상수리나무야, 통곡하라. 울창한 숲이 쓰러졌다.

Breek uit in gejammer, cipressen, want alle ceders zijn verwoest. De mooiste en hoogste zijn gevallen. Schreeuw van angst, eiken van Basan, als u ziet hoe het ondoordringbare woud instort.

松树啊，哀号吧，因为香柏树已经倒下，挺拔的树木已被毁坏。巴珊的橡树啊，哀号吧，因为茂密的树林已被砍倒。
