Romans 11:7

What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking [that is, God’s favor by obedience to the Law], but the elect [those chosen few] obtained it, while the rest of them became hardened and callously indifferent;

La situación, pues, es esta: que la mayoría de los de Israel no lograron el favor de Dios que andaban buscando. Únicamente lo lograron los que Dios había escogido, mientras que todos los demás se endurecieron,

What should we say then? The people of Israel did not receive what they wanted so badly. Those Israelites who were chosen did receive it. But the rest of the people were made stubborn.

What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened,

So this is the situation: Most of the people of Israel have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly. A few have—the ones God has chosen—but the hearts of the rest were hardened.

فَمَا الْخُلاصَةُ إِذاً؟ إِنَّ مَا يَسْعَى إِلَيْهِ إِسْرَائِيلُ لَمْ يَنَالُوهُ، بَلْ نَالَهُ الْمُخْتَارُونَ مِنْهُمْ، وَالْبَاقُونَ عَمِيَتْ بَصَائِرُهُمْ،

Karon, makaingon kita nga ang mga Israelinhon wala makaangkon sa ilang gitinguha nga mahimong matarong. Ang pinili lang sa Dios mao ang nakaangkon niini, apan ang uban gipagahi ang ilang mga ulo.

Was heißt das also? Israel hat nicht erreicht, worum es sich mit aller Kraft bemühte. Das wurde nur einem kleinen, von Gott auserwählten Teil des Volkes geschenkt. Alle übrigen aber sind verhärtet und taub für Gottes Botschaft.

Que s’est-il donc passé ? Ce que le peuple d’Israël cherchait, il ne l’a pas trouvé ; seuls ceux que Dieu a choisis l’ont obtenu. Les autres ont été rendus incapables de comprendre, conformément à ce qui est écrit :

מה המסקנה? רוב היהודים לא השיגו את הצדקה אשר ביקשו, רק מעטים השיגו – אלה שבחר אלוהים – ואילו האחרים נעשו עיוורים לאמת.

Karon, makasiling kita nga ang mga Israelinhon wala nakabaton sang ila ginahandom nga mangin matarong. Ang ginpili lang sang Dios amo ang nakabaton sang ila ginahandom, pero ang iban ginpatig-a ang ila ulo.

Questa è dunque la situazione: la maggior parte degli Ebrei non ha incontrato il favore di Dio, che cercava con tanto zelo. Lʼha ottenuto, invece, una minoranza, quelli che Dio stesso ha scelto. Gli altri, invece, sono stati resi insensibili.

大部分のユダヤ人は、追い求めていた神の恵みを得ることができませんでした。恵みを得たのは、神に選ばれた少数の者だけでした。ほかの人々は心を閉ざされてしまったのです。

그렇다면 무엇이란 말입니까? 이스라엘은 결국 자기들이 찾던 것을 얻지 못하고 선택받은 사람들만 얻었으며 나머지는 완고해지고 말았습니다.

Altså, det som Israels folk søkte etter med stor iver, å bli skyldfri innfor Gud, det oppnådde de aldri. Denne friheten fra skyld ble i stedet gitt til den lille gruppen som har takket ja til Guds innbydelse om å tilhøre ham. De andre ble døve og blinde for det Gud ville.

De Israëlieten hebben dus niet gekregen wat zij zo graag wilden, op een paar na die door God waren uitgekozen. Maar de meesten werden steeds ongevoeliger.

Mamy więc taką sytuację: Izrael nie osiągnął tego, czego pragnął. Tylko wybrana garstka Żydów znalazła łaskę Boga—większość zaś stała się nieczuła.

Que dizer então? Israel não conseguiu aquilo que tanto buscava, mas os eleitos o obtiveram. Os demais foram endurecidos,

Esta é pois a situação: A maioria de Israel não encontrou o favor que buscava de Deus; mas uns quantos, que Deus escolheu para si, alcançaram-no; aos outros Deus permitiu o seu endurecimento.

Shinashpaca, ¿ima nishuntaj? Israelcunaca, paicuna japishun nicushcataca manamari japircacunachu. Dios agllashcacunallami chaitaca japircacuna. Chaishujcunataca, rumi shungutami rurarca.

Şi atunci? Israel n-a obţinut ceea ce căuta, dar cei aleşi au obţinut; iar ceilalţi au fost împietriţi,

Čo z toho vyplýva? Izrael nedosiahol Božiu priazeň, po ktorej túžil. Dosiahli ju len vyvolení.

แล้วเป็นอย่างไร? อิสราเอลไม่ได้สิ่งที่เขาขวนขวายหา แต่ผู้ที่ทรงเลือกกลับได้รับ คนอื่นๆ นอกจากนั้นถูกทำให้มีใจแข็งกระด้าง

這該怎麼說呢？以色列人努力追求，卻一無所得，只有蒙揀選的人得到了，其他的人都變得頑固不化。
