Psalm 99:8

You answered them, O Lord our God;You were a forgiving God to them,And yet an avenger of their evil practices.

Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

Lord our God, you answered them. You showed Israel that you are a God who forgives. But when they did wrong, you punished them.

O Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they went wrong.

أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا، أَنْتَ اسْتَجَبْتَ لَهُمْ. غَفَرْتَ لَهُمْ إثْمَهُمْ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ عَاقَبْتَهُمْ جَزَاءَ أَفْعَالِهِمْ.

Herre, vor Gud, du svarede dem og var villig til at tilgive, selv om du måtte straffe dem for deres synder.

Herr, unser Gott! Du hast sie erhört. Du hast deinem Volk die Schuld vergeben, aber auch ihre Vergehen bestraft.

Señor y Dios nuestro, tú les respondiste; fuiste para ellos un Dios perdonador, aun cuando castigaste sus rebeliones.

Ginoo nga amon Dios, ginsabat mo ang mga pangamuyo sang imo katawhan.[d]Ginpakita mo sa ila nga mapinatawaron ka nga Dios bisan ginsilutan mo sila sa ila mga sala.

神である主よ。あなたは、人々の祈りに答えて罪をお赦しになりましたが、その誤った行為に対しては、厳然として罰を下されました。

우리 하나님 여호와여,주께서는 그들에게응답하셨습니다.그들이 잘못했을 때주는 벌하셨지만주께서는 그들을용서하신 하나님이었습니다.

Here, U hebt hun altijd antwoord gegeven.O mijn God, U hebt hun altijd vergeven,hoewel U wel strafte als dat nodig was.

Tu lhes respondeste, Senhor, nosso Deus;para eles, tu eras um Deus perdoador,embora os tenhas castigado por suas rebeliões.

Senhor, nosso Deus, tu respondias às suas orações;estavas sempre a perdoar as suas maldades,ainda que sejas um Deus castigador do pecado.

Doamne, Dumnezeul nostru, Tu le-ai răspuns; ai fost pentru ei[d] un Dumnezeu Care iartă, dar şi Unul Care te-ai răzbunat pe ei din cauza faptelor lor rele.

Herre, vår Gud, du svarade dem och var för dem en Gud som förlät dem men som också straffade dem när de handlade fel.

ข้าแต่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายพระองค์ทรงตอบเขาเหล่านั้นทรงเป็นพระเจ้าผู้ทรงให้อภัยสำหรับอิสราเอล[b]แม้ทรงลงโทษเมื่อพวกเขาทำผิด[c]

耶和华，我们的上帝啊，你应允了他们，向他们显明你是赦罪的上帝，但也惩罚他们的罪恶。

耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 的 神 啊 ， 你 应 允 他 们 ； 你 是 赦 免 他 们 的 神 ， 却 按 他 们 所 行 的 报 应 他 们 。

耶和華，我們的上帝啊，你應允了他們，向他們顯明你是赦罪的上帝，但也懲罰他們的罪惡。
