Clouds and thick darkness surround Him [as at Sinai];Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

Bright clouds and storm clouds circle ’round him;Right and justice anchor his rule.

Bedrohliche, dunkle Wolken umhüllen ihn, Gerechtigkeit und Recht sind die Säulen seiner Herrschaft.
