Psalm 78:31

The wrath of God rose against themAnd killed some of the strongest of them,And subdued the choice young men of Israel.

The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.

The anger of God rose against themAnd killed [q]some of their stoutest ones,And [r]subdued the choice men of Israel.

His anger rose up against them. He put to death the strongest among them. He struck down Israel’s young men.

ثَارَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبُ اللهِ، فَقَتَلَ أَسْمَنَهُمْ وَصَرَعَ نُخْبَتَهُمْ.
