Psalm 55:12

For it is not an enemy who taunts me—Then I could bear it;Nor is it one who has hated me who insolently exalts himself against me—Then I could hide from him.

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

If an enemy were making fun of me, I could stand it.If he were getting ready to oppose me, I could hide.

If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it;if a foe were rising against me, I could hide.

It is not an enemy who taunts me— I could bear that.It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me— I could have hidden from them.

لَوْ كَانَ عَدُوِّي هُوَ الَّذَي يُعَيِّرُنِي لَكُنْتُ أَحْتَمِلُ. وَلَوْ كَانَ مَنْ يُبْغِضُنِي هُوَ الَّذِي يَتَجَبَّرُ عَلَيَّ لَكُنْتُ أَخْتَبِئُ مِنْهُ.

Der er vold og mord overalt, trusler og bedrageri breder sig uhæmmet.

In ihren Straßen herrschen Erpressung und Betrug, und das Verbrechen scheint kein Ende zu nehmen.

des forces destructrices |agissent dans ses murs,l’oppression et la tromperie |ne quittent pas ses grandes places.

Kon ang kaaway ko ang nagainsulto sa akon mabatas ko ini.Kon ang kontra ko ang nagapakanubo sa akon malikawan ko siya.

私をののしるのは敵ではありません。それなら我慢もできたでしょう。身を避け、逃げることもできたでしょう。

나를 조롱한 자가 내 원수였다면내가 그것을 참을 수 있었으리라.나에게 거드름을 피우는 자가나의 대적이었다면내가 그를 피하여숨을 수 있었으리라.

Er is onheil in de stad,op pleinen en in straten,overal is terreur en bedrog.

Se um inimigo me insultasse, eu poderia suportar;se um adversário se levantasse contra mim, eu poderia defender-me;

Não foi um inimigo quem me insultou;se assim fosse, eu até teria suportado;poderia ter-me escondido e escapado.

Nu un duşman mă batjocoreşte, căci atunci aş îndura!Nu cel ce mă urăşte se ridică împotriva mea, căci m-aş ascunde de el!

на Всевышнего полагаюсь и не устрашусь: что может мне сделать человек?

на Бога полагаюсь,и не устрашусь:что может мне сделать человек?

Våldet har tagit överhanden, och förtryck och svek lämnar aldrig dess torg.

หากเป็นศัตรูมาสบประมาทข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้ายังพอจะทนได้หากเป็นปฏิปักษ์ที่ลุกขึ้นต่อต้านข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจะไปซ่อนตัวเสีย

倘若是仇敌辱骂我，我还能忍受；倘若是恨我的人欺凌我，我还可以躲开。

原 来 不 是 仇 敌 辱 骂 我 ， 若 是 仇 敌 ， 还 可 忍 耐 ； 也 不 是 恨 我 的 人 向 我 狂 大 ， 若 是 恨 我 的 人 就 必 躲 避 他 。

倘若是仇敵辱罵我，我還能忍受；倘若是恨我的人欺凌我，我還可以躲開。
