Psalm 44:12

You sell Your people cheaply,And have not increased Your wealth by their sale.

Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.

You sell Your people [e]cheaply,And have not [f]profited by their sale.

You sold your people for very little. You didn’t gain anything when you sold them.

You sold your people for a pittance, gaining nothing from their sale.

بِعْتَ شَعْبَكَ بِلَا مَالٍ وَبِثَمَنِهِمْ لَمْ تَرْبَحْ.

Du udleverede os som får, der skal slagtes. Du spredte os rundt blandt fremmede folk.

Du selbst hast uns ans Messer geliefert;sie haben uns abgeschlachtet wie Schafe. Wer mit dem Leben davonkam, wurde unter fremde Völker zerstreut.
