Psalm 40:4

Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who makes the Lord his trust,And does not regard the proud nor those who lapse into lies.

Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust,And has not [c]turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.

Blessed is the person who trusts in the Lord.They don’t trust in proud people. Those proud people worship statues of gods.

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.[b]

Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols.

طُوبَى لِرَجُلٍ وَضَعَ فِي الرَّبِّ ثِقَتَهُ، وَلَمْ يَلْتَفِتْ إِلَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ وَالْمُنْحَرِفِينَ إِلَى الْكَذِبِ.

Han gav mig en ny sang at synge, en lovsang til ære for Gud.Mange skal høre, hvad Herren har gjort, og med ærefrygt sætte deres lid til ham.

Er gab mir ein neues Lied in meinen Mund, einen Lobgesang für unseren Gott.Das werden viele Leute hören, sie werden den Herrn wieder achten und ihm ganz neu vertrauen.

Bulahan ang tawo nga nagasalig sa Ginoo,kag wala nagadangop sa mga matinaas-taason nga nagasunod sa kabutigan.[a]

おごり高ぶり、偶像を拝む者には頼らず、主だけを頼りとする人には、豊かに祝福が注がれます。

여호와를 의지하고교만한 자와거짓된 신을 좇는 자를우러러보지 않는 사람은복 있는 자이다.

Hij leerde mij een nieuw lied,een lofzang voor onze God.Ik hoop dat velen het merkenen ook ontzag voor de Here zullen krijgen.Dat zij ook op Hem gaan vertrouwen.

Como é feliz o homem que põe no Senhor a sua confiança,e não vai atrás dos orgulhosos[a], dos que se afastam para seguir deuses falsos[b]!

Felizes são aqueles que põem a sua confiança no Senhor,que não confiam em gente orgulhosa,nem que se desvia para a mentira.

Ferice de omulcare îşi pune încrederea în Domnul, care nu se abate spre cei mândri şi nici spre cei ce se închină la idoli[a]!

Вечный укрепит его во время болезни и поднимет его с ложа недуга.

信靠耶和华的人有福了！他们不随从骄傲自大、信靠假神的人。

那 倚 靠 耶 和 华 、 不 理 会 狂 傲 和 偏 向 虚 假 之 辈 的 ， 这 人 便 为 有 福 ！
