Psalm 33:12

Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the nation whose God is the Lord,The people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.

طُوبَى لِلأُمَّةِ الَّتِي الرَّبُّ إِلَهُهَا، وَلِلشَّعْبِ الَّذِي اخْتَارَهُ مِيرَاثاً لَهُ:

Lykkeligt er det folk, som har Herren til Gud, dem han valgte som sit ejendomsfolk.

Glücklich ist die Nation, deren Gott der Herr ist! Freuen kann sich das Volk, das er als sein Eigentum erwählte!

主を信じる民は幸せです。主から選ばれた民だからです。13-15 人の心を造られた主は、天の住まいから全人類を見下ろし、一人一人の行動をつぶさに眺めておられます。16-17 最強の軍備を誇る軍隊でも、王を救えるわけではありません。力だけでは、誰ひとり救うことはできません。勇ましい軍馬も、勝利を保証してはくれません。力が救いとはならないのです。18-19 しかし主の目線は、主を信じて従い、その変わらない愛に頼る者に注がれます。ききんのときにも、餓死することはありません。
