Psalm 17:4

Concerning the deeds of men, by the word of Your lipsI have kept away from the paths of the violent.

Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Though evil people tried to pay me to do wrong, I have not done what they wanted.Instead I have done what you commanded.

مَا شَأْنِي بِأَعْمَالِ النَّاسِ الشِّرِّيرَةِ؟ فَبِفَضْلِ كَلامِ شَفَتَيْكَ تَفَادَيْتُ مَسَالِكَ الْعَنِيفِ.

Jeg har altid fulgt din vejledning og holdt mig fra onde menneskers handlinger.

Dein Wort war mein einziger Maßstab –auch dann, wenn andere nicht danach lebten. Von gewalttätigen Menschen hielt ich mich fern.
