Psalm 17:14

From men with Your hand, O Lord,From men of the world [these moths of the night] whose portion [of enjoyment] is in this life—idle and vain,And whose belly You fill with Your treasure;They are satisfied with children,And they leave what they have left [of wealth] to their children.

From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

From men with Your hand, O Lord,From men [g]of the world, whose portion is in this life,And whose belly You fill with Your treasure;They are satisfied with children,And leave their abundance to their babes.

Lord, by your power save me from people like that. They belong to this world. They get their reward in this life. May what you have stored up for evil people fill their bellies. May their children’s stomachs be filled with it. And may there even be leftovers for their little ones.

By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life.May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones.

By the power of your hand, O Lord, destroy those who look to this world for their reward.But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones. May their children have plenty, leaving an inheritance for their descendants.

أَنْقِذْنِي بِيَدِكَ يَا رَبُّ مِنَ النَّاسِ. مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا الَّذِينَ نَصِيبُهُمْ هُوَ فِي هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ. أَنْتَ تَمْلَأُ بُطُونَهُمْ مِنْ خَيْرَاتِكَ الْمَخْزُونَةِ، فَيَشْبَعُ أَبْنَاؤُهُمْ، وَيُوَرِّثُونَ أَوْلادَهُمْ مَا يَفْضُلُ عَنْهُمْ.

Frels mig med din stærke hånd, Herre, red mig fra disse mordere.De er rige og får alt, hvad de peger på. De har mange børn og kan efterlade dem en rigelig arv.[a]

Bring mich vor denen in Sicherheit, die nichts als die Güter dieser Welt im Sinn haben!Du gibst ihnen schon, was sie verdienen. Sogar ihre Kinder und Enkel werden noch genug davon bekommen![b]

¡Con tu mano, Señor, sálvame de estos mortales que no tienen más herencia que esta vida! Con tus tesoros les has llenado el vientre, sus hijos han tenido abundancia, y hasta ha sobrado para sus descendientes.

여호와여,자기들의 몫을 다 받은이 세상 사람들에게서나를 구하소서.그들은 주의 것으로 배불리 먹고그 자녀들도 풍족하게 먹이고남은 재산을 그 후손에게까지물려 주려고 합니다.

Sla hen met uw eigen hand, Here,die mannen van deze wereld,die buiten dit leven niets meer verwachten.Geef hun maar wat goed voor hen is.Laat zelfs hun nageslacht er nog last van hebben.

Com a tua mão, Senhor, livra-me de homens assim,de homens deste mundo, cuja recompensa está nesta vida.Enche-lhes o ventre de tudo o que lhes reservaste;sejam os seus filhos saciados, e o que sobrar fique para os seus pequeninos.[a]

Salva-me desta gente mundana,cujos interesses estão só nos lucros desta vida.Tu enches de bens materiais aqueles que amas,fartas os seus filhos e os filhos dos seus filhos.

Scapă-mă Doamne, cu mâna Ta, de astfel de oameni, de oamenii acestei lumi care-şi au partea în viaţa aceasta!Tu le umpli pântecele cu bunătăţile Tale, fiii lor se satură şi păstrează ce rămâne pentru copiii lor.

Herre, rädda mig med din hand från sådana, från världens människor, som har fått sin del här i livet, vilkas buk du fyller med din rikedom, vilkas söner är många och kan samla rikedom åt sina barn.[c]

ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า โดยพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ ขอทรงช่วยกู้ข้าพระองค์จากคนเช่นนี้จากคนของโลกนี้ซึ่งบำเหน็จของเขาอยู่แค่ในชีวิตนี้ขอให้สิ่งที่พระองค์ได้สั่งสมไว้ให้คนชั่วเติมเต็มท้องของพวกเขาขอให้ลูกหลานของพวกเขากินมันอย่างตะกละตะกลามขอให้เหลือตกทอดไปถึงลูกเล็กเด็กแดง
