Psalm 16:4

The sorrows [pain and suffering] of those who have chosen another god will be multiplied [because of their idolatry];I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood,Nor will I take their names upon my lips.

Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

Don’t just go shopping for a god. Gods are not for sale.I swear I’ll never treat god-names like brand-names. 5-6 My choice is you, God, first and only. And now I find I’m your choice!You set me up with a house and yard. And then you made me your heir! 7-8 The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart.Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go. 9-10 I’m happy from the inside out, and from the outside in, I’m firmly formed.You canceled my ticket to hell— that’s not my destination!

The [f]sorrows of those who have [g]bartered for another god will be multiplied;I shall not pour out their drink offerings of blood,Nor will I take their names upon my lips.

Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.I will not pour out offerings of blood to those gods. My lips will not speak their names.

Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips.

Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods. I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods.

تَتَكَاثَرُ أَوْجَاعُ الْمُتَهَافِتِينَ وَرَاءَ غَيْرِكَ. أَمَّا أَنَا فَتَقْدِمَاتُ سَكَائِبِهِمِ الدَّمَوِيَّةِ لَا أُقَدِّمُ، وَلَا أَذْكُرُ أَسْمَاءَ أَوْثَانِهِمْ بِشَفَتَيَّ.

Men de, som tilbeder andre guder, oplever mange sorger.Jeg vil ikke nævne deres guders navne eller være med til at bringe dem ofre.

Wer sich aber von dem lebendigen Gott abwendetund anderen Göttern nachläuft, der kommt aus dem Kummer nicht mehr heraus.Diesen Göttern will ich kein Opfer bringen, nicht einmal ihre Namen nehme ich in den Mund.

Aumentarán los dolores de los que corren tras ellos.¡Jamás derramaré sus sangrientas libaciones, ni con mis labios pronunciaré sus nombres!

Mais tous ceux qui s’empressent |après un autre dieune font qu’augmenter leurs tourments[b].Je ne prendrai pas part |à leurs sanglantes libations[c].Le nom de ces idoles |ne passera pas sur mes lèvres.

Pero ang mga nagadangop sa mga dios-dios nagadamo ang ila mga kalisod.Indi ako magpakig-upod sa ila nga paghalad sang dugo sa mga dios-dios,kag indi gid ako magmitlang sang mga ngalan sang sina nga mga dios-dios.

ほかの神々を選んだ者は、悲しみに打ち沈むことでしょう。私は彼らのように供え物をささげたり、神々の名を口にしたりすることもありません。

다른 신을 좇는 자들은괴로움이 더하리라.나는 그들처럼 다른 신에게제사하지 않고그 신들의 이름을부르지 않을 것이다.

Mensen die afgoden nalopen,worden getroffen door veel ellende.Ik zal nooit aan hun afgoden offeren,zelfs hun namen zal ik niet noemen.

Grande será o sofrimento dos que correm atrás de outros deuses.[a]Não participarei dos seus sacrifícios de sangue,e os meus lábios nem mencionarão os seus nomes.

Terão muito a sofrer,todos esses que prestam culto a outros deuses.Quanto a mim, nunca hei de oferecer desses sacrifícios,nem sequer pronunciarei o nome dos seus deuses.

Durerile celor ce aleargă după idoli se înmulţesc; eu însă nu aduc ca ei jertfe de băutură din sânge şi nici nu pun numele idolilor lor pe buzele mele.

De som jagar efter andra gudar kommer att dra mer olycka över sig. Jag tänker inte offra blodsoffer åt dem, och jag vill inte ens uttala deras namn.

บรรดาผู้ที่ติดตามพระอื่นๆ จะทุกข์โศกมากยิ่งขึ้นข้าพเจ้าจะไม่เทเลือดถวายเป็นเครื่องสักการบูชาเหมือนที่พวกเขาทำหรือเอ่ยชื่อพระต่างๆ ของพวกเขา

追随假神的人，其愁苦必有增无减。我必不向他们的假神献上血祭，口中也不提假神的名号。

以 别 神 代 替 耶 和 华 的 （ 或 译 ： 送 礼 物 给 别 神 的 ） ， 他 们 的 愁 苦 必 加 增 ； 他 们 所 浇 奠 的 血 我 不 献 上 ； 我 嘴 唇 也 不 提 别 神 的 名 号 。

追隨假神的人，其愁苦必有增無減。我必不向他們的假神獻上血祭，口中也不提假神的名號。
