Psalm 12:3

May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,The tongue that speaks great things [in boasting];

The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,The tongue that speaks great things;

May the Lord close all lips that don’t mean what they say. May he stop every tongue that brags.

May the Lord silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue—

May the Lord cut off their flattering lips and silence their boastful tongues.

يَقْطَعُ الرَّبُّ كُلَّ الشِّفَاهِ الْمَلِقَةِ، وَكُلَّ لِسَانٍ مُتَبَجِّحٍ.

Alle bedrager hinanden, de er fulde af løgn og falskhed.

Jeder belügt jeden. Wie leicht kommen ihnen Komplimente über die Lippen, aber das ist nichts als Heuchelei.

Que o Senhor corte todos os lábios bajuladores e a língua arrogante

O Senhor castigará os que falam com adulação e altivamente;

Nimicească Domnul buzele linguşitoare şi limba lăudăroasă,
