Proverbs 6:30

People do not despise a thief if he stealsTo satisfy himself when he is hungry;

Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;

[t]Men do not despise a thief if he stealsTo satisfy [u]himself when he is hungry;

People don’t hate a thief who steals to fill his empty stomach.

People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving.

Excuses might be found for a thief who steals because he is starving.

وَمَعَ أَنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ لَا تَحْتَقِرُ لِصّاً إِذَا سَرَقَ لِيُشْبِعَ بَطْنَهُ وَهُوَ جَائِعٌ،

Man kan forstå en mand, som stjæler, hvis han er ved at dø af sult.

Wer Brot stiehlt, weil er Hunger hat, wird nicht verachtet.

No se desprecia al ladrón que roba para mitigar su hambre;

On ne méprise pas celui qui a volépour assouvir sa faim parce qu’il n’avait rien à manger.

空腹のあまり盗みをしてしまったとしたら、言い訳の余地があるかもしれません。

도둑이 배가 고파 굶주린 배를 채우려고 도둑질하면 사람들이 그를 멸시하지는 않을 것이다.

Man föraktar inte en tjuv, om han stjäl för att stilla sin hunger.[c]

ผู้คนยังสงสารขโมยที่ลักทรัพย์เพราะความหิวโหย

贼因充饥而偷， 没有人藐视他；

贼 因 饥 饿 偷 窃 充 饥 ， 人 不 藐 视 他 ，

賊因充饑而偷， 沒有人藐視他；
