Proverbs 6:3

Do this now, my son, and release yourself [from the obligation];[a]Since you have come into the hand of your neighbor,Go humble yourself, and plead with your neighbor [to pay his debt and release you].

Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.

Instead, my son, do something to free yourself. Don’t fall into your neighbor’s hands.Go until you can’t go anymore. Don’t let your neighbor rest.

So do this, my son, to free yourself, since you have fallen into your neighbor’s hands:Go—to the point of exhaustion—[a] and give your neighbor no rest!

فَافْعَلْ هَذَا يَا ابْنِي وَنَجِّ نَفْسَكَ، لأَنَّكَ أَصْبَحْتَ تَحْتَ رَحْمَةِ صَاحِبِكَ: اذْهَبْ تَذَلَّلْ إِلَيْهِ

Prøv at komme ud af det, min søn, for du er jo i den anden mands magt. Anmod ham straks om at annullere aftalen.

Dann gibt es nur einen Rat: Versuch so schnell wie möglich, davon freizukommen! Der Gläubiger hat dich in seiner Gewalt – also geh zu ihm und bestürme ihn so lange, bis er dich freigibt.

もしそうなったら、すぐに手を打ちなさい。プライドを捨て、恥をかくことを覚悟して相手のところへ飛んで行き、証書から名前を消してもらいなさい。

이것은 네가 네 이웃에게 걸려든 것이니 너는 이렇게 하여라: 그에게 속히 가서 겸손한 태도로 네가 보증 선 것을 취소시켜 달라고 부탁하여 가능한 한 거기서 빠져나오도록 하라.

Doe dan het volgende, mijn zoon: breng de zaak snel in het reine, want je naaste heeft een vordering op jou. Bezoek de schuldeiser en zeg hem dat je zult betalen en dwing de schuldenaar, voor wie je borg staat, alsnog het geld bijeen te brengen.

Gör så här, min son, för att befria dig själv, när du nu kommit i din nästas våld: Gå och ödmjuka dig själv,[a] vädja till honom.

孩子啊，你已落入邻人的手中， 你当如此自救： 要谦卑地向他求情。

我 儿 ， 你 既 落 在 朋 友 手 中 ， 就 当 这 样 行 才 可 救 自 己 ： 你 要 自 卑 ， 去 恳 求 你 的 朋 友 。

孩子啊，你已落入鄰人的手中， 你當如此自救： 要謙卑地向他求情。
