Proverbs 31:6

Give strong drink [as medicine] to him who is ready to pass away,And wine to him whose life is bitter.

Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

Give strong drink to him who is perishing,And wine to him [d]whose life is bitter.

Let beer be for those who are dying. Let wine be for those who are sad and troubled.

Let beer be for those who are perishing, wine for those who are in anguish!

Let beer be for those who are perishing, wine for those who are in anguish!

Alcohol is for the dying, and wine for those in bitter distress.

أَعْطُوا الْمُسْكِرَ لِلْهَالِكِ، وَالْخَمْرَ لِذَوِي النُّفُوسِ التَّعِسَةِ،

Men giv gerne alkohol til de døende, og vin til dem, der lider.

Gebt den Wein lieber denen, die dahinsiechen und verbittert sind!

Dales licor a los moribundos, y vino a los amargados;

Dales licor a los que están por morir, y vino a los amargados;

Que l’on donne plutôt les boissons enivrantes à celui qui va périr,et du vin à qui a le cœur amer.

독주는 다 죽게 된 사람에게, 포도주는 고민하는 사람에게 주어라.

Geef sterke drank maar aan iemand die in de put zit, wijn aan iemand die erg verdrietig is,

Dê bebida fermentada aos que estão prestes a morrer,vinho aos que estão angustiados;

As bebidas alcoólicas podem ajudar doentes,que estão para morrer, ou os que vivem deprimidos.

Daţi băuturi tari celui ce piere şi vin celui ce are viaţa amară,

把烈酒给灭亡的人， 把淡酒给忧伤的人，

可 以 把 浓 酒 给 将 亡 的 人 喝 ， 把 清 酒 给 苦 心 的 人 喝 ，

把烈酒給滅亡的人， 把淡酒給憂傷的人，
