Proverbs 27:7

He who is satisfied loathes honey,But to the hungry soul any bitter thing is sweet.

The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

When you’ve stuffed yourself, you refuse dessert; when you’re starved, you could eat a horse.

A sated [b]man [c]loathes honey,But to a famished [d]man any bitter thing is sweet.

When you are full, you even hate honey. When you are hungry, even what is bitter tastes sweet.

النَّفْسُ الشَّبْعَانَةُ تَطَأُ الشَّهْدَ، أَمَّا النَّفْسُ الْجَائِعَةُ فَتَجِدُ كُلَّ مُرٍّ حُلْواً.

Den, der er stopmæt, har ikke lyst til dessert, men den sultne kan spise tørt brød.

Wer satt ist, will auch den besten Honig nicht mehr sehen; dem Hungrigen aber schmeckt sogar das Bittere süß.

饱足的人连蜂蜜也嫌弃， 饥饿的人吃苦食也甘甜。

人 吃 饱 了 ， 厌 恶 蜂 房 的 蜜 ； 人 饥 饿 了 ， 一 切 苦 物 都 觉 甘 甜 。

飽足的人連蜂蜜也嫌棄， 饑餓的人吃苦食也甘甜。
