Proverbs 17:24

[Skillful and godly] wisdom is in the presence of a person of understanding [and he recognizes it],But the eyes of a [thickheaded] fool are on the ends of the earth.

Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.

The perceptive find wisdom in their own front yard; fools look for it everywhere but right here.

الْحِكْمَةُ هِيَ غَايَةُ العَاقِلِ أَمَّا عَيْنَا الْجَاهِلِ فَزَائِغَتَانِ إِلَى أَقَاصِي الأَرْضِ.

Den fornuftige har visdom for øje, men tåbens blik fortaber sig i det fjerne.

Ein vernünftiger Mensch bemüht sich um Weisheit, aber ein dummer hat nur andere Dinge im Kopf[c].

총명한 사람은 지혜로운 일을 추구하지만 미련한 자는 온갖 잡다한 것에 눈길을 돌린다.

Een verstandig mens is aan zijn gezicht te herkennen, maar de ogen van een dwaas dwalen alle kanten op.

O homem de discernimento mantém a sabedoria em vista,mas os olhos do tolo vagueiam até os confins da terra.

A sabedoria é o grande objetivo das pessoas sensatas;mas os olhos do louco vagueiam pela Terra,sem saber o que o satisfaz de facto.

Înţelepciunea este înaintea omului priceput, dar ochii prostului o caută la capătul pământului.
