Proverbs 14:31

He who oppresses the poor taunts and insults his Maker,But he who is kind and merciful and gracious to the needy honors Him.

He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

You insult your Maker when you exploit the powerless; when you’re kind to the poor, you honor God.

At udnytte de magtesløse er at håne deres Skaber, at hjælpe de nødlidende er at ære Gud.

Wer den Armen unterdrückt, verhöhnt dessen Schöpfer. Wer dem Hilflosen beisteht, der ehrt Gott.

Wie een arme onderdrukt, raakt ook zijn Schepper. Wie echter hulpbehoevenden steunt, eert Hem.

Oprimir o pobre é ultrajar o seu Criador,mas tratar com bondade o necessitado é honrar a Deus.
