Proverbs 13:24

He who withholds the rod [of discipline] hates his son,But he who loves him disciplines and trains him diligently and appropriately [with wisdom and love].

He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

A refusal to correct is a refusal to love; love your children by disciplining them.

مَنْ كَفَّ عَنْ تَأْدِيبِ ابْنِهِ يَمْقُتُهُ، وَمَنْ يُحِبُّ ابْنَهُ يَسْعَى إِلَى تَأْدِيبِهِ.

Den, der sparer på riset, hader sin søn, den, der elsker sin søn, tugter ham i tide.

Wer seinem Kind jede Strafe erspart, der tut ihm damit keinen Gefallen. Wer sein Kind liebt, der erzieht es von klein auf mit Strenge.

매를 아끼는 것은 자식을 미워하는 것이다. 진정으로 자식을 사랑하는 부모는 성실하게 자식을 징계한다.

Wie nooit straft, bederft zijn zoon. Maar wie zijn zoon liefheeft, straft hem reeds op jonge leeftijd.

Quem se nega a castigar seu filho não o ama;quem o ama não hesita em discipliná-lo.

Se recusares disciplinar o teu filho, dás provas de que não o amas devidamente;se o amasses saberias castigá-lo sempre que é preciso.

Cine cruţă nuiaua îşi urăşte fiul, dar cine-l iubeşte are grijă să-l disciplineze.

不用杖管教儿女是憎恶他们， 疼爱儿女的随时管教他们。
