Proverbs 1:8

My son, hear the instruction of your father,And do not reject the teaching of your mother.

My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

Hear, my son, your father’s instructionAnd do not forsake your mother’s teaching;

My son, listen to your father’s advice. Don’t turn away from your mother’s teaching.

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.

My child,[a] listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction.

اسْتَمِعْ يَا ابْنِي إِلَى تَوْجِيهِ أَبِيكَ وَلا تَتَنَكَّرْ لِتَعْلِيمِ أُمِّكَ.

Hør efter din fars formaning, min søn, og husk på din mors belæring.

Mein Sohn,[a] hör auf deinen Vater und deine Mutter und schlag ihre Ermahnungen nicht in den Wind!

Anak,[d] pamatii ang mga pagtadlong sang imo ginikanan sa imo pamatasan,

내 아들아, 네 아버지의 교훈을 귀담아 듣고 네 어머니의 가르침을 저버리지 말아라.

Mijn zoon, luister naar de wijze lessen van je vader. Zoek je houvast in wat je moeder je geleerd heeft.

Ouça, meu filho, a instrução de seu pai e não despreze o ensino de sua mãe.

Ouve o teu pai e a tua mãe e não desprezes o que te ensinarem.

Ascultă, fiul meu, învăţătura tatălui tău şi nu părăsi îndrumarea mamei tale.

ลูกเอ๋ย จงฟังคำสั่งสอนของพ่อเจ้าและอย่าละเลยคำสอนของแม่เจ้า

孩子啊， 你要听从父亲的教诲， 不可背弃母亲的训言。

我 儿 ， 要 听 你 父 亲 的 训 诲 ， 不 可 离 弃 你 母 亲 的 法 则 （ 或 译 ： 指 教 ） ；

孩子啊， 你要聽從父親的教誨， 不可背棄母親的訓言。
