Obadiah 1:13

“Do not enter the gate of My peopleIn the day of their disaster;Yes, you, do not look [with delight] on their miseryIn the day of their ruin,And do not loot treasuresIn the day of their ruin.

Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;

“Do not enter the gate of My peopleIn the day of their disaster.Yes, you, do not [j]gloat over their calamityIn the day of their disaster.And do not loot their wealthIn the day of their disaster.

You should not have marched through the gates of my people’s city when they were in trouble.You shouldn’t have been happy about what happened to them. You should not have stolen their wealth when they were in trouble.

You should not march through the gates of my people in the day of their disaster,nor gloat over them in their calamity in the day of their disaster,nor seize their wealth in the day of their disaster.

وَمَا كَانَ يَجِبُ أَنْ تَقْتَحِمَ أَبْوَابَ شَعْبِي فِي يَوْمِ كَارِثَتِهِ، أَوْ تَشْمَتَ لِمُصِيبَتِهِ فِي يَوْمِ نَكْبَتِهِ، أَوْ تَنْهَبَ ثَرْوَتَهُ فِي يَوْمِ بَلِيَّتِهِ،

I var med til at udplyndre dem og blev rige på deres bekostning.

Es war ein Tag des Schreckens, ein Tag voller Tod und Verderben. Doch ihr seid auch noch in die eroberte Stadt eingedrungen und habt euch angesehen, wie die Menschen dort litten! Den letzten Besitz meines Volkes habt ihr an euch gerissen.

Kom niet naar Israël op die rampzalige dag. Maak u niet meester van de buit en heb geen leedvermaak over haar ondergang.

Não devia ter entrado pelas portas do meu povo no dia da sua calamidade;nem devia ter ficado alegre com o sofrimento dele no dia da sua ruína;nem ter roubado a riqueza dele no dia da sua desgraça.

Tu próprio entraste na terra de Israel, nesses dias de calamidade, e a pilhaste. Tornaste-te rico à sua custa.

我子民遭难的日子，你不该闯进他们的城；他们遭难的日子，你不该幸灾乐祸；他们遭难的日子，你不该趁火打劫；

我 民 遭 灾 的 日 子 ， 你 不 当 进 他 们 的 城 门 ； 他 们 遭 灾 的 日 子 ， 你 不 当 瞪 眼 看 着 他 们 受 苦 ； 他 们 遭 灾 的 日 子 ， 你 不 当 伸 手 抢 他 们 的 财 物 ；
