Numbers 32:7

Now why are you discouraging the hearts of the Israelites from crossing over into the land which the Lord has given them?

And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the Lord hath given them?

The Lord has given the land of Canaan to the Israelites. So why would you want to keep them from going over into it?

“Why do you want to discourage the rest of the people of Israel from going across to the land the Lord has given them?

لِمَاذَا تُضْعِفُونَ قُلُوبَ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ عَنِ الْعُبُورِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي وَهَبَهَا الرَّبُّ لَهُمْ؟

„Det vil tage modet fra resten af folket, så vi risikerer, at de går glip af det land, Herren har lovet dem.

Wenn ihr das tut, wird bald kein Israelit mehr in das Land wollen, das der Herr ihnen versprochen hat!
