Numbers 23:8

“How shall I curse those whom God has not cursed?Or how can I [violently] denounce those the Lord has not denounced?

How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?

But how can I put a curse on people God hasn’t cursed?How can I speak against people the Lord hasn’t spoken against?

كَيْفَ أَلْعَنُ مَنْ لَمْ يَلْعَنْهُ اللهُ؟ وَكَيْفَ أَشْتِمُ مَنْ لَمْ يَشْتِمْهُ الرَّبُّ؟

Kan jeg mon forbande, når Gud ikke vil, nedkalde vrede, uden at Herren er vred?

Aber wie kann ich jemanden verfluchen, den Gott nicht verflucht? Wie kann ich jemandem Unheil bringen, dem Gott, der Herr, nichts antun will?

하나님이 저주하시지 않은 자를내가 어찌 저주하며여호와께서 꾸짖지 않으신 자를내가 어찌 꾸짖으랴?

Como posso amaldiçoar a quem Deus não amaldiçoou?Como posso pronunciar ameaças contra quem o Senhor não quis ameaçar?

Men hur skulle jag kunna förbanna vad Gud inte har förbannat? Hur kan jag fördöma ett folk som Herren inte har fördömt?
