Numbers 10:31

Then Moses said, “[e]Please do not leave us, for you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you will serve as eyes for us [as we make our trek through the desert].

And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.

فَقَالَ مُوسَى: «لا تَتْرُكْنَا لأَنَّكَ تَعْرِفُ مَسَالِكَ الصَّحْرَاءِ وَمَوَاضِعَ الإِقَامَةِ فِيهَا، فَتَكُونَ لَنَا دَلِيلاً.

„Jo, bliv nu hos os,” bad Moses. „Vi har brug for dig, for du kender ørkenen og ved, hvor det er bedst at slå lejr.
