Nahum 2:13

“Behold, I am against you [Nineveh],” declares the Lord of hosts, “and I will burn your chariots in the smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions. I will cut off your prey from the land, and the voice of your messengers will no longer be heard.”

Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

“Assyria, I’m your enemy,” says God-of-the-Angel-Armies.“I’ll torch your chariots. They’ll go up in smoke. ‘Lion Country’ will be strewn with carcasses.The war business is over—you’re out of work: You’ll have no more wars to report,No more victories to announce. You’re out of war work forever.”

“Behold, I am against you,” declares the Lord of hosts. “I will burn up her chariots in smoke, a sword will devour your young lions; I will cut off your prey from the land, and no longer will the voice of your messengers be heard.”

“I am your enemy!” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“Your chariots will soon go up in smoke. Your young men[c] will be killed in battle.Never again will you plunder conquered nations. The voices of your proud messengers will be heard no more.”

هَا أَنَا أُقَاوِمُكِ. يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ. فَأُحْرِقُ مَرْكَبَاتِكِ فَتُصْبِحُ دُخَاناً، وَيَلْتَهِمُ السَّيْفُ لُحُومَ أَبْنَائِكِ، وَأَسْتَأْصِلُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ غَنَائِمَكِ وَلَنْ يَتَرَدَّدَ فِي مَا بَعْدُ صَوْتُ مَنْدُوبِيكِ.

Løven har selv røvet et utal af byer og slæbt byttet hjem til hunløven og ungerne.Den fyldte sin hule med krigsbytte, store mængder af kostbarheder.

万军之耶和华说：“我要与你为敌，烧毁你的战车，使刀剑吞噬你的壮狮；我要使你无法再掳掠他国，你使者的声音将从此消逝。”

万 军 之 耶 和 华 说 ： 我 与 你 为 敌 ， 必 将 你 的 车 辆 焚 烧 成 烟 ， 刀 剑 也 必 吞 灭 你 的 少 壮 狮 子 。 我 必 从 地 上 除 灭 你 所 撕 碎 的 ， 你 使 者 的 声 音 必 不 再 听 见 。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我要與你為敵，燒毀你的戰車，使刀劍吞噬你的壯獅；我要使你無法再擄掠他國，你使者的聲音將從此消逝。」
