Nahum 2:11

Where is the den of the lions (Assyria)And the feeding place of the young lions,Where the lion, lioness, and lion’s cub prowledWith nothing to fear?

Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?

Where is the den of the lionsAnd the feeding place of the young lions,Where the lion, lioness and lion’s cub prowled,With nothing to disturb them?

Assyria is like a lion. Where is the lions’ den now? Where did they feed their cubs?Where did all the lions go? In their den they had nothing to fear.

Where now is the lions’ den, the place where they fed their young,where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear?

Where now is that great Nineveh, that den filled with young lions?It was a place where people—like lions and their cubs— walked freely and without fear.

أَيْنَ نِينَوى عَرِينُ الأُسُودِ وَمْرْتَعُ الأَشْبَالِ حَيْثُ يَسْرَحُ الأَسَدُ وَاللَّبُوءَةُ وَالأَشْبَالُ مِنْ غَيْرِ إِزْعَاجٍ؟

Alt bliver ødelagt, total tomhed er tilbage.Alle indbyggerne er rædselsslagne, lamslåede og ligblege.

Zertreten und zertrümmert bleibt Ninive zurück, überall herrscht Zerstörung. Die Überlebenden haben allen Mut verloren, ihre Knie zittern, sie krümmen sich vor Schmerz und sind totenbleich[c].

諸国の間でライオンのようにふるまい、闘志と大胆さをみなぎらせていた町、年老いて弱くなった者も、いたいけな子どもも恐れることなく暮らしていた町、あの偉大なニネベは今、どこにあるのか。

Waar is nu dat grote Ninevé? Waar is dat hol van de leeuw waar welpen werden gevoed? Waar is de plaats waar iedereen, jong en oud, woonde zonder angst?

Onde está agora a toca dos leões?O lugar em que alimentavam seus filhotes,para onde iam o leão, a leoa e os leõezinhos, sem nada temer?

Onde está agora essa grande Nínive, o leão das nações, cheia de combatividade e de ousadia, onde até mesmo os velhos e os fracos, tal como os jovens e os meninos, viviam em segurança?

Unde este acum culcuşul acela al leilor, locul unde se hrănesc[i] puii de lei,pe unde umbla leul, leoaica şi puiul de leu, fără să le fie frică de nimeni?

Var finns nu lejonkulan, där de unga lejonen matades, där både lejonet, lejoninnan och ungarna gick utan att behöva frukta för någonting?

如今那狮子的洞穴，那喂养壮狮的地方在哪里呢？从前，雄狮、母狮和幼狮曾在那里出入，无人惊扰。
