Matthew 5:3

“Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

“[b]Blessed are the [c]poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

«طُوبَى لِلْمَسَاكِينِ بِالرُّوحِ، فَإِنَّ لَهُمْ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ.

„Kteří lidé jsou skutečně šťastni? Šťastni jsou pokorní, nenamyšlení, vždyť těm patří Boží království.

„Velsignede er de, der erkender deres afhængighed af Gud[c]— for de skal få del i Guds rige.

»Glücklich sind, die erkennen, wie arm sie vor Gott sind,[a]denn ihnen gehört sein himmlisches Reich.

«Dichosos los pobres en espíritu, porque el reino de los cielos les pertenece.

Heureux ceux qui se reconnaissent spirituellement pauvres[a],car le royaume des cieux leur appartient.

"אשרי האנשים המודים בעניותם הרוחנית, כי להם שייכת מלכות השמים.

'Blago onima koji shvaćaju da im je Bog potreban[a]jer je njihovo nebesko kraljevstvo.

Šťastní sú pokorní, ktorí si o sebe priveľa nemyslia, lebo tým patrí Božie kráľovstvo.
