When they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they [a]removed the roof above Jesus; and when they had dug out an opening, they let down the mat on which the paralyzed man was lying.

And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

Intentaron pasar por en medio de la multitud, pero les fue imposible. Entonces subieron al tejado, hicieron una abertura encima de donde Jesús estaba, y por ella, entre los cuatro, bajaron con unas cuerdas al paralítico que yacía en la camilla.

但因為人太多，他們無法抬到耶穌跟前，就拆掉屋頂，對準耶穌所坐的地方，將癱子連墊子一起縋下去。
