Luke 5:21

The scribes and the Pharisees began to consider and question [the implications of what He had said], saying, “Who is this man who speaks blasphemies [by claiming the rights and prerogatives of God]? Who can forgive sins [that is, remove guilt, nullify sin’s penalty, and assign righteousness] except God alone?”

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

That set the religion scholars and Pharisees buzzing. “Who does he think he is? That’s blasphemous talk! God and only God can forgive sins.” 22-26 Jesus knew exactly what they were thinking and said, “Why all this gossipy whispering? Which is simpler: to say ‘I forgive your sins,’ or to say ‘Get up and start walking’? Well, just so it’s clear that I’m the Son of Man and authorized to do either, or both. . . .” He now spoke directly to the paraplegic: “Get up. Take your bedroll and go home.” Without a moment’s hesitation, he did it—got up, took his blanket, and left for home, giving glory to God all the way. The people rubbed their eyes, incredulous—and then also gave glory to God. Awestruck, they said, “We’ve never seen anything like that!” 27-28 After this he went out and saw a man named Levi at his work collecting taxes. Jesus said, “Come along with me.” And he did—walked away from everything and went with him. 29-30 Levi gave a large dinner at his home for Jesus. Everybody was there, tax men and other disreputable characters as guests at the dinner. The Pharisees and their religion scholars came to his disciples greatly offended. “What is he doing eating and drinking with crooks and ‘sinners’?” 31-32 Jesus heard about it and spoke up, “Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I’m here inviting outsiders, not insiders—an invitation to a changed life, changed inside and out.”

Ang mga Pariseo ug ang mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan naghuna-huna, “Kinsa ba kining tawhana nga nagapasipala sa Dios. Walay bisan kinsa nga makapasaylo sa mga sala kondili ang Dios lang.”

すると、「なんと罰あたりなことばだ！ いったい自分をだれだと思ってるのか。明らかに神への冒瀆だ！ 罪を赦すことなど、神にしかできないことなのに」と、パリサイ人や律法の専門家たちは、心の中で強く反発しました。

그러자 율법학자들과 바리새파 사람들이 “도대체 이 사람이 누군데 감히 하나님을 모독하는가? 하나님 한 분 외에 누가 죄를 용서할 수 있단 말인가?” 하며 수군거렸다.
