Leviticus 22:32

“You shall not profane My holy name [using it to honor an idol, or treating it with irreverence or contempt or as a byword]; but I will be sanctified (set apart as holy) among the Israelites. I am the Lord, who sanctifies and declares you holy,

Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which hallow you,

Do not treat my name as if it were not holy. The Israelites must recognize me as the holy God. I am the Lord. I made you holy.

وَلا تُدَنِّسُوا اسْمِي الْقُدُّوسَ، فَأَتَقَدَّسَ وَسَطَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، فَأَنَا الرَّبُّ الَّذِي أُقَدِّسُكُمْ،

I må ikke krænke mig ved at være ulydige. I skal vise mig ærefrygt og respekt, for jeg er Herren, der gør jer hellige.

Entweiht nicht meinen heiligen Namen! Alle Israeliten sollen mich als ihren heiligen Gott verehren. Ich bin der Herr, und ich habe euch als mein Volk ausgesondert.
