Leviticus 16:29

“This shall be a permanent statute for you: in the seventh month (nearly October) on the tenth day of the month you shall [d]humble yourselves [by fasting] and not do any work, whether the native-born or the stranger who lives temporarily among you;

And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

“This shall be a permanent statute for you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble your souls and not do any work, whether the native, or the alien who sojourns among you;

“Here is a law for you that will last for all time to come. On the tenth day of the seventh month you must not eat anything. You must not do any work. It does not matter whether you are Israelites or outsiders.

“This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month you must deny yourselves[c] and not do any work—whether native-born or a foreigner residing among you—

“On the tenth day of the appointed month in early autumn,[f] you must deny yourselves.[g] Neither native-born Israelites nor foreigners living among you may do any kind of work. This is a permanent law for you.

وَإِلَيْكُمْ هَذِهِ الشَّرِيعَةَ الدَّائِمَةَ: إِنَّكُمْ فِي الْيَوْمِ الْعَاشِرِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ السَّابِعِ (أَيْ شَهْرِ أَيْلُولَ – سِبْتَمْبَر) تَتَذَلَّلُونَ وَلا تَقُومُونَ بِأَيِّ عَمَلٍ. الْمُوَاطِنُ وَالْغَرِيبُ النَّازِلُ فِي وَسَطِكُمْ عَلَى حَدٍّ سَوَاءٍ،

Dies alles soll am 10. Tag des 7. Monats geschehen.Zusätzlich gelten für diesen Tag noch folgende Ordnungen, die ihr stets einhalten müsst: Ihr sollt fasten und euch vor mir beugen. Ihr dürft keinerlei Arbeit verrichten, weder ihr noch die Ausländer, die bei euch wohnen.

“그리고 너희가 대대로 지켜야 할 규정은 이렇다: 7월 10일에는 아무 일도 하지 말고 [c]자기를 살피면서 경건한 마음으로 보내야 한다. 이것은 이스라엘 사람뿐만 아니라 그들 가운데 사는 외국인들도 지켜야 할 규정이다.

Dit is een wet die altijd van kracht blijft: op de tiende dag van de zevende maand mag u niet werken. Het moet een dag zijn van zelfonderzoek en vasten voor de Here. Dit geldt zowel voor de geboren Israëliet als voor de buitenlander die bij u woont.

“Este é um decreto perpétuo para vocês: No décimo dia do sétimo mês vocês se humilharão[b] e não poderão realizar trabalho algum, nem o natural da terra, nem o estrangeiro residente.

A seguinte lei terá validade perpétua: Não deverão trabalhar no dia 10 do sétimo mês;[b] passarão esse dia em reflexão íntima e humildade. Isto aplica-se tanto ao que tiver nascido na terra, como ao estrangeiro que esteja no meio do povo de Israel.

Detta är en stadga som alltid ska följas: på den tionde dagen i sjunde månaden ska ni ödmjuka er själva och inte utföra något arbete, varken ni israeliter eller utlänningar som lever mitt ibland er.

每 逢 七 月 初 十 日 ， 你 们 要 刻 苦 己 心 ， 无 论 是 本 地 人 ， 是 寄 居 在 你 们 中 间 的 外 人 ， 甚 麽 工 都 不 可 做 ； 这 要 作 你 们 永 远 的 定 例 。

「每年七月十日，不論是你們，還是寄居在你們中間的外族人，都要禁食，停止所有工作。這是你們要永遠遵守的律例。
