Leviticus 11:3

You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof [that is, a hoof split into two parts especially at its distal extremity] and chews the cud.

Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

Whatever divides a hoof, thus making split hoofs, and chews the cud, among the animals, that you may eat.

تَأْكُلُونَ كُلَّ حَيَوَانٍ مَشْقُوقِ الظِّلْفِ وَمُجْتَرٍّ،

sind euch alle erlaubt, die vollständig gespaltene Hufe oder Pfoten haben und wiederkäuen. 4-6 Das Kamel, den Klippdachs und den Hasen dürft ihr aber nicht essen. Denn sie sind zwar Wiederkäuer, haben aber keine gespaltenen Hufe oder Pfoten. Sie müssen bei euch als unrein gelten.
