Lamentations 5:9

We get our bread at the risk of our livesBecause of the sword [of the Arabs] in the wilderness [who may attack if we go out to harvest the crop].

بِأَنْفُسِنَا نَأْتِي بِخُبْزِنَا مُجَازِفِينَ بِحَيَاتِنَا مِنْ جَرَّاءِ السَّيْفِ الْكَامِنِ لَنَا فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ.

Vi må hente vores føde langvejsfra og risikere at blive overfaldet på vejen.

Med risk för livet hämtar vi vårt bröd, för svärdet härjar i öknen.
