Lamentations 4:21

Rejoice and be glad, O Daughter of Edom,Who lives in the land of Uz.But the cup [of the wine of God’s wrath] will pass to you as well;You will become drunk and make yourself naked.

Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked.

Celebrate while you can, O Edom! Live it up in Uz!For it won’t be long before you drink this cup, too. You’ll find out what it’s like to drink God’s wrath,Get drunk on God’s wrath and wake up with nothing, stripped naked.

People of Edom, be joyful. You who live in the land of Uz, be glad.But the cup of the Lord’s anger will also be passed to you. Then you will become drunk. Your clothes will be stripped off.

Are you rejoicing in the land of Uz, O people of Edom?But you, too, must drink from the cup of the Lord’s anger. You, too, will be stripped naked in your drunkenness.

ابْتَهِجِي وَافْرَحِي يَا ابْنَةَ أَدُومَ، يَا سَاكِنَةَ عَوْصٍ. إِنَّمَا هَذِهِ الْكَأْسُ سَتَجُوزُ عَلَيْكِ أَيْضاً فَتَسْكَرِينَ وَتَتَعَرَّيْنَ.

乌斯地区的以东人啊，只管欢喜作乐吧！因为盛满耶和华愤怒的杯也要传到你们那里。你们必喝醉，以致赤身露体。

住 乌 斯 地 的 以 东 民 哪 ， 只 管 欢 喜 快 乐 ； 苦 杯 也 必 传 到 你 那 里 ； 你 必 喝 醉 ， 以 致 露 体 。

烏斯地區的以東人啊，只管歡喜作樂吧！因為盛滿耶和華憤怒的杯也要傳到你們那裡。你們必喝醉，以致赤身露體。
