Lamentations 4:12

The kings of the earth did not believe,Nor did any of the inhabitants of the earth,That the adversary (oppressor) and enemyCould enter the gates of Jerusalem.

The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem.

The kings of the earth couldn’t believe it. World rulers were in shock,Watching old enemies march in big as you please, right through Jerusalem’s gates.

لَمْ يُصَدِّقْ مُلُوكُ الأَرْضِ وَسُكَّانُ الْمَعْمُورَةِ أَنَّ الْعَدُوَّ وَالْخَصْمَ يَقْتَحِمَانِ بَوَّابَاتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ.

Man mente ikke, det kunne lade sig gøre at indtage Jerusalem. Ingen af jordens konger troede, det var muligt.

Was niemand für möglich gehalten hätte,ist nun vor den Augen der Völker geschehen:Die Feinde sind in Jerusalem eingezogen,im Triumph schritten sie durch seine Tore.

世界中のだれもが、まさか敵軍がエルサレムの門を破るとは、夢にも思いませんでした。

침략군이 예루살렘 성문으로 들어가리라고는 세상의 그 누구도 믿지 않았다.

Geen koning ter wereld, geen enkel volk op aarde, zou hebben geloofd dat een vijand door de poorten van Jeruzalem naar binnen kon marcheren!

Os reis da terra e os povos de todo o mundo não acreditavamque os inimigos e os adversários pudessem entrar pelas portas de Jerusalém.

Não havia um rei sequer, nem ninguém em todo o mundo, que acreditasse que o inimigo poderia entrar pelas portas de Jerusalém!

Regii pământului n-ar fi crezut şi nici unul din locuitorii lumii nu s-ar fi gânditcă duşmanul şi vrăjmaşul vor intra pe porţile Ierusalimului.

Inga kungar på jorden, ingen i hela världen, skulle ha trott att en fiende eller ovän kunde komma in genom Jerusalems portar.

ไม่มีกษัตริย์องค์ไหนไม่มีชนชาติใดทั่วโลกนี้เชื่อว่าข้าศึกศัตรูจะสามารถล่วงล้ำผ่านประตูเยรูซาเล็มเข้ามาได้
