Lamentations 2:20

See, O Lord, and look!With whom have You dealt this way?Should women eat their offspring,The little ones who were born healthy and beautiful?Should priest and prophet be killedIn the sanctuary of the Lord?

Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?

“Look at us, God. Think it over. Have you ever treated anyone like this? Should women eat their own babies, the very children they raised? Should priests and prophets be murdered in the Master’s own Sanctuary?

Jerusalem says, “Lord, look at me. Think about my condition. Have you ever treated anyone else like this?Should women have to eat their babies? Should they eat the children they’ve taken care of?Should priests and prophets be killed in your own temple?

“O Lord, think about this! Should you treat your own people this way?Should mothers eat their own children, those they once bounced on their knees?Should priests and prophets be killed within the Lord’s Temple?

انْظُرْ يَا رَبُّ وَتَأَمَّلْ! بِمَنْ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا؟ أَعَلَى النِّسَاءِ أَنْ يَأْكُلْنَ ثَمَرَةَ بُطُونِهِنَّ، وَأَطْفَالَ حَضَانَتِهِنَّ؟ أَيَتَحَتَّمُ عَلَى الْكَاهِنِ وَالنَّبِيِّ أَنْ يُقْتَلا فِي مَقْدِسِ الرَّبِّ؟

„Vær nådig, Herre,” råber Jerusalem. „Stands denne frygtelige straf. Skal mødre virkelig spise deres egne børn, som sad på deres skød? Skal præster og profeter myrdes i dit hellige tempel?

Herr, sieh doch die Menschen,über die du solches Leid gebracht hast!Wie konnte es nur so weit kommen,dass Frauen ihre geliebten Kinder essen?Bis in deinen heiligen Tempel drang die Gewalt,Priester und Propheten wurden dort totgeschlagen.

Vois, Eternel, et considère :qui as-tu traité de la sorte ?Se peut-il que des femmes |dévorent les enfants |qu’elles ont mis au monde,les bébés qu’elles ont choyés ?Se peut-il que l’on tue |les prêtres, les prophètesjusqu’au sein même |du sanctuaire du Seigneur ?

主よ、思い直してください。このような仕打ちをしている相手は、神の民ではありませんか。母親が、ひざの上であやしたわが子を食べていいのでしょうか。祭司や預言者が、神殿で殺されてよいのでしょうか。

여호와여, 보소서. 주께서 누구에게 이처럼 행하셨습니까? 여자들이 자기가 키우는 자식을 잡아먹고 제사장들과 예언자들이 바로 성소에서 죽음을 당하고 있습니다!

Och Here, denk toch aan ons! Dit zijn uw eigen mensen wie U zulke dingen aandoet. Moeten moeders soms hun eigen kleine kinderen opeten die zij eens op schoot hielden? Is het nodig dat priesters en profeten sterven in de tempel van de Here?

“Olha, Senhor, e considera:A quem trataste dessa maneira?Deverão as mulheres comer seus próprios filhos, que elas criaram com tanto amor?Deverão os profetas e os sacerdotes ser assassinados no santuário do Senhor?

Ó Senhor, olha! É ao teu próprio povo que estás a fazer isto! Serão as mães obrigadas a comer os próprios filhinhos que adormeceram nos braços? Estarão os sacerdotes e os profetas destinados a morrer mesmo no templo do Senhor?

Priveşte, Doamne, şi ia aminte! Cui i-ai mai făcut Tu aşa ceva?Să-şi mănânce femeile rodul pântecului lor, copiii pe care i-au dezmierdat?!Să fie ucişi preoţii şi profeţii în Lăcaşul Stăpânului?!

– Взгляни, Вечный, и посмотри, с кем Ты когда-либо поступал так,чтобы женщины ели своих детей, младенцев, вскормленных ими?Чтобы убивали священнослужителя и пророка в святилище Владыки?

”Se, Herre, tänk på vem du behandlar så här! Ska kvinnor äta sina barn, som de fött till livet? Ska präster och profeter dödas i Herrens helgedom?

“ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าขอทรงทอดพระเนตรและใคร่ครวญเถิดพระองค์ทรงเคยทำเช่นนี้แก่ใครบ้าง?ควรหรือที่คนเป็นแม่จะกินเลือดเนื้อเชื้อไขของตนคือบรรดาลูกในไส้ที่ตนฟูมฟักเลี้ยงดูมา?ควรหรือที่ปุโรหิตและผู้เผยพระวจนะจะถูกฆ่าในสถานนมัสการขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า?

“耶和华啊，求你看看，你曾这样对付过谁呢？母亲岂能吃自己的孩子？祭司和先知岂能在主的圣所中被杀？

耶 和 华 啊 ， 求 你 观 看 ！ 见 你 向 谁 这 样 行 ？ 妇 人 岂 可 吃 自 己 所 生 育 手 里 所 摇 弄 的 婴 孩 吗 ？ 祭 司 和 先 知 岂 可 在 主 的 圣 所 中 被 杀 戮 吗 ？

「耶和華啊，求你看看，你曾這樣對付過誰呢？母親豈能吃自己的孩子？祭司和先知豈能在主的聖所中被殺？
