Judges 9:38

Then Zebul said to Gaal, “Where is your [boasting] mouth now, you who said, ‘Who is Abimelech that we should serve him?’ Is this not the people whom you despised? Go out now and fight with them!”

Then said Zebul unto him, Where is now thy mouth, wherewith thou saidst, Who is Abimelech, that we should serve him? is not this the people that thou hast despised? go out, I pray now, and fight with them.

Zebul said, “Where is that big mouth of yours now? You who said, ‘And who is Abimelech that we should take orders from him?’ Well, there he is with the troops you ridiculed. Here’s your chance. Fight away!” 39-40 Gaal went out, backed by the leaders of Shechem, and did battle with Abimelech. Abimelech chased him, and Gaal turned tail and ran. Many fell wounded, right up to the city gate.

Then Zebul said to him, “Where is your [ah]boasting now with which you said, ‘Who is Abimelech that we should serve him?’ Is this not the people whom you despised? Go out now and fight with them!”

Then Zebul said to Gaal, “Where is your big talk now? You said, ‘Who is Abimelek? Why should we be under his rule?’ Aren’t these the people you made fun of? Go out and fight against them!”

فَأَجَابَهُ زَبُولُ: «أَيْنَ هُوَ تَبَجُّحُكَ الآنَ حِينَ قُلْتَ: مَنْ هُوَ أَبِيمَالِكُ حَتَّى نَخْدُمَهُ؟ أَلَيْسَ هَؤُلاءِ هُمُ الرِّجَالُ الَّذِينَ سَخِرْتَ مِنْهُمْ؟ فَاخْرُجِ الآنَ وَحَارِبْهُ!».

Da udbrød Zebul: „Hvor er nu dine store ord? Var det ikke dig, der sagde: ‚Hvad bilder den Abimelek sig ind, og hvad ret har han til at herske over os.’? De mænd, du hånede i går, er nu på vej mod byen. Ryk ud imod dem!”
