Judges 9:13

And the vine replied, ‘Should I give up my new wine, which makes God and men happy, and go to wave over the trees?’

And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

But the vine said to them, ‘Shall I leave my new wine, which cheers God and men, and go to wave over the trees?’

“But the vine answered, ‘Should I give up my wine? It cheers up gods and people alike. Should I give that up just to rule over the trees?’

“But the vine answered, ‘Should I give up my wine, which cheers both gods and humans, to hold sway over the trees?’

‘But the vine answered, “Should I give up my wine, which cheers both gods and humans, to hold sway over the trees?”

But the grapevine also refused, saying,‘Should I quit producing the wine that cheers both God and people, just to wave back and forth over the trees?’

فَأَجَابَتْهُنَّ الْكَرْمَةُ: ’أَأَنْبِذُ خَمْرِي الَّذِي يُفَرِّحُ اللهَ وَالنَّاسَ لِكَيْ أَمْلِكَ عَلَى الأَشْجَارِ؟‘

Men vinstokken afslog tilbuddet: ‚Skulle jeg holde op med at producere den vin, der glæder både Gud og mennesker, bare for at regere over jer?’

Doch der Weinstock sagte nur: ›Dann könnte ich ja keinen Most mehr geben, der die Götter und die Menschen erfreut! Das kommt nicht in Frage!‹

Nagsabat ang ubas, ‘Mas pilion ko pa bala ang maghari sa inyo sang sa maghatag sang bino nga makapalipay sa mga dios kag sa mga tawo? Indi gid!’

しかし、ぶどうの木も断った。『私は神と人とを楽しませるぶどう酒を作り出すのをやめてまで、ほかの木より偉くなろうなんて思わない。』

포도나무도 거절하며 ‘내가 어떻게 하나님과 사람을 기쁘게 하는 포도주 산출을 버리고 가서 너희를 다스리겠느냐?’ 하고 대답하였다.

Maar de wijnstok antwoordde: “Zou ik ophouden wijn te produceren die God en de mensen vrolijk maakt, uitsluitend om machtiger te worden dan alle andere bomen?”

“A videira, porém, respondeu: ‘Deveria eu renunciar ao meu vinho, que alegra os deuses e os homens, para ter domínio sobre as árvores?’

‘Não vou parar de produzir vinho novo, que alegra tanto aos deuses como os homens, só para ter poder acima das outras!’

Dar viţa le-a răspuns: «Să-mi părăsesc eu mustul care aduce bucurie zeilor şi oamenilor şi să mă duc să stăpânesc peste copaci?»

Men vinstocken svarade: ’Skulle jag sluta att ge vin som gläder både gudar och människor bara för att svaja över de andra träden?’

“แต่เถาองุ่นตอบว่า ‘ควรหรือที่ข้าพเจ้าจะเลิกผลิตเหล้าองุ่นซึ่งให้ความชื่นใจแก่ทั้งพระและมนุษย์ เพื่อไปแกว่งไกวเหนือต้นไม้ทั้งปวง?’

葡萄树说，‘我怎能因为贪图凌驾于众树之上而停止出产令神明和世人都快乐的美酒呢？’

葡 萄 树 回 答 说 ： 我 岂 肯 止 住 使 神 和 人 喜 乐 的 新 酒 ， 飘 ? 在 众 树 之 上 呢 。

葡萄樹說，『我怎能因為貪圖淩駕於眾樹之上而停止出產令神明和世人都快樂的美酒呢？』
